Ingredient Idol is back at SupplySide Global for the fifth year running! Each year, the experts at SupplySide (along with our SupplySide Global audience) and elite panel of judges select the top new ingredients of the year.
Do you have a new supplement ingredient in the sexual health, weight management, or nutricosmetics categories; or a food/beverage ingredient for relaxation, focus or formulation innovation technology?

The SupplySide editorial teams will review the applications and select three finalists for each category. If you are selected as a finalist, you will receive an email with further directions by October 13, 2025. Your ingredient will be featured with our other Ingredient Idol finalists on SupplySide Supplement Journal or SupplySide Food & Beverage Journal.
As a finalist, you will pitch your ingredient in front of the Ingredient Idol judges as well as a live SupplySide Global audience on the Innovation Stage. You’ll have just three minutes to pitch your ingredient and then the judges will get three minutes to ask questions. After hearing from all the finalists, the judges will deliberate and select a winner.
A winner from each category will be chosen by the judges. But you will also earn the chance to win the People’s Choice Award based on the loudest applause from the audience.
Winners will receive an official Ingredient Idol trophy, a feature in SupplySide Supplement Journal or SupplySide Food & Beverage Journal, and bragging rights for a full 365 days!

No. There is no cost to participate in Ingredient Idol.
If you do not hear from us by October 13th, you can assume you were not selected as a finalist.
Yes. Someone from your team must provide a short pitch to our panel of judges on the Innovation Stage at SupplySide Global. Your pitch will also be judged by the live audience for the “people’s choice” award.
Yes, but you will need to submit two different submission forms.
Yes, you must be an exhibitor to enter your ingredient.
Yes. The more information you can give us, the better. Your submission form is your chance to convince the SupplySide editorial team why your ingredient is better than all the other new ingredients on the market. Show us.
